About the event
On 1st January 2012, VATSIM New Zealand (VATNZ) turned 5 years old. To celebrate this, we decided to retrace the first event in VATNZ history, the "Inaugural Fly In"!
The "Inaugural Fly In" on 1st January 2007 was a celebration of the formation of our division. It was an opportunity for all our new members to take to the skies at the same time. This was the first of many events our division has held over the years. With the aim of leaving either Dunedin or Christchurch at 2pm, people would arrive at the same in Auckland. The event was a huge success and was a great start to our division.
Join us on 29th January 2012 for our 5th Anniversary Fly In to celebrate our first 5 years and hopefully many more to come!
