Auckland and Napier

Napier is the largest population centre on the East Coast, and home to one of the busier regional airports in the country. With the offset runway 16 approach, the nearby Pacific, and the mountainous terrain just north of the field, this is a great airport to fly into or control.

Pilots should start at either Napier or Auckland and fly at least one return trip to the other airport and back.

Flight time each way should be around 45mins, so a return trip should be easy and flies over a wide variety of terrain.
