Face the Challenge

New Zealand has many challenging approaches that test pilots and passengers alike.

This week's SNO (Sunday Night Operations) sees us Face the Challenge as VATNZ plays host to three of the more challenging in our little piece of paradise, all of which feature in the VATNZ Challenges webpage.

The three challenges featuring this week:

  • Challenge #1: VOR/DME Approach to Queenstown (NZQN)
  • Challenge #2: ILS/DME Approach to Wellington (NZWN)
  • Challenge #3: NDB/DME Approach to Te Anau/Manapouri (NZMO)

Flight routes will depend on whether you want to fly a Jet, Turboprop, Light Twin or Light Single aircraft
