This week's focus airport is Gisborne (NZGS), located on the east coast of the North Island. This airport is a regional airport serviced by Eagle Airways flying to and from Auckland and Wellington, Air Nelson flying to and from Auckland and Sunair which flies routes to a number of regional airports in the North Island. In the real world, the main runway 14/32 has a railway line crossing it about 1/3 of the way down runway 32. This provides an interesting situation for the controllers and pilots alike.
Bring out your favourite aircraft and fly into or out of Gisborne (NZGS) or plug into an ATC position listed below and don't miss out on the action.
