Good Bye 767

The Boeing 767 has been loved dearly by many aviation enthusiasts around New Zealand and the world for the past 32 years it has been in service with Air New Zealand starting with the -200ER series in 1985 then followed by the -300ER series in 1991. The 767 has since carried millions of passengers on many routes, ranging from trans-Tasman flights to long-haul Asia/Hawaii flights and the Auckland-Rarotonga-Los Angeles service.

The final 767 service for Air New Zealand, from Sydney to Auckland as NZ108/ANZ108 will take place on the 31st March 2017. To commemorate this, we will host this event on the same day, from 7pm NZDT (0600z) to midnight NZDT (1100z) minutes after the scheduled arrival of the last 767 flight in the real world. The Sydney-Auckland route is usually served with 777s, 787s, the 767 and A320s, but we will be taking the 767 for one last flight after 32 years of graceful service.
