(Not Actually) Labour Weekend Mainline

UPDATE: Turns out Nick couldn't read a calendar correctly - Labour Weekend was last weekend. Never mind, this should still be a great night as always!

It's the first long weekend in more than four months, and time for all those holidaymakers to board a flight and head up or down country for a well-earned break.

To celebrate, VATNZ is running another installment of the ever popular Sunday Night Mainline events, where we staff as many control positions as possible at the three main VATNZ airports - Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch - and see if the division's pilots can make the controllers sweat.

Each sector is only 40-80 minutes, so take advantage of the Monday morning lie-in and see how many legs you can fly in one evening.

Based on previous Mainline events, turnout will be particularly strong, so make sure that you book your ATC positions ahead of time to score your favourite spot. Pilots, your bookings matter too: the more you book, the more controllers you'll see online on the night, so file a couple of flight plans today, and join in the fun!
