The Alp Line

This week's SNO takes us along the spine of the Southern Alps on a journey between Invercargill and Nelson. Along the way there will be stops in Te Anau/Manapouri (NZMO) with its challenging NDB/DME Approach and Queenstown (NZQN) with its high surrounding peaks and difficult terrain.

To complete the flights into all of the airfields in the event, you will need an ATR72 aircraft or smaller. This is due to the size of the runway at Te Anau/Manapouri airfield (NZMO). For those that wish to fly a bigger aircraft, you can simply miss out NZMO during the journey.
