This week's focus airport is Woodbourne (NZWB). Woodbourne airport is located in Blenheim at the tip of the South Island. It is home to RNZAF Base Woodbourne which operates as a maintainence and military training base. Woodbourne has commuter services operating daily to Auckland and Wellington by Air Nelson and Eagle Air with Eagle Air also flying to Christchurch. Sounds Air and Air2there also operate out of Woodbourne to Wellington, with Air2there also flying to Paraparaumu.
Woodbourne is equipped with radar. The airport is also equipped with a VOR for approaches. You can expect a VORDME approach or an RNAV approach.
