Next month's Worldflight event passes through two VATNZ airports: Auckland and Apia, Western Samoa. In preparation, this week we're focussing our Sunday Night Operations on the Samoan airspace by flying sectors between Apia (Faleolo: NSFA) and Nuku'alofa (Fua'amotu: NFTF) in Tonga.
It's also a chance for pilots to practice their Oceanic reporting: use the Oceanic Reporting Tool to figure out what needs to be in your report.
The complete flight takes less than an hour in a B737 or similar, so make sure to fly both sectors and help stress out the controllers with arrivals and departures.
