Auckland Region in Twins or smaller

The Auckland TMA airspace is controlled by two controllers in the real world. The area is home to Auckland International, the largest airport in New Zealand. The TMA, however is not only home to Auckland Airport, but three other airports are located within the zone: Whenuapai Air Force Base (NZWP), Ardmore Aerodrome (NZAR) -the busiest aerodrome in New Zealand and North Shore Aerodrome (NZNE). Whenuapai is usually serviced by military aircraft but also has an aeroclub which flies GA aircraft. Both North Shore Aerordrome and Ardmore have flight training facilities and are often packed with GA aircraft.

This Sunday night, we will experience the action and adventure of real world, busy GA flying with only one controller over the area! Fly either IFR or VFR - the choice is yours, just using small twin engine aircraft or smaller. Controllers can expect a sudden surge of GA traffic during the event which will test their controlling skills.
