Tom L steps down as Events Director

After several years of service to the Division, Tom Lyall has decided to step down from his role as Events Director.

Tom has been a key part of the Division over the past few years, leading the Events portfolio since 2022 and contributing to a wide range of events across the network. From large-scale events such as WorldFlight, 24 Hours of VATSIM, and Cross the Ditch, through to community-focused initiatives like Anzac Parade and the First/Elite Wings series, Tom has consistently delivered high-quality experiences for our members. Alongside this, he has also contributed his time within the Training Team, supporting the further development of our members.

We want to thank Tom for the time, effort, and energy he has dedicated to the Division and our community. We wish him all the best, and look forward to continuing to see him around the network.

Cam Tyson will be stepping in as Acting Events Director to provide oversight of the portfolio, with a focus on supporting Oliver in the Events Manager role. The Events Director position will be advertised shortly.
