VATNZ appoints a new Deputy Division Director

I’m pleased to share that the Board has made an appointment to the Deputy Division Director role, with the successful candidate due to commence in the role mid-February.

This appointment followed a structured process that we’re working to codify in the forthcoming Divisional Policy, ensuring appointments are fair, well-considered, and in the best interests of the Division.

The Deputy Division Director plays an important role in supporting the Division Director by providing an independent governance perspective, assisting with cross-portfolio work, and acting as an independent escalation point. I’m confident the incoming appointee will be a strong addition to the Board, and I look forward to introducing them once they formally take up the role.
