VATNZ seeks a new Deputy Division Director

Applications are now open for the Deputy Division Director position on the VATNZ Board.

The Deputy Division Director (DDD) supports the Division Director by providing an independent perspective, assisting with cross-portfolio projects, and stepping in when needed to maintain continuity across the Division. The role also serves as an impartial escalation point for conduct or sensitive matters and may act in vacant Director roles where required.

The DDD plays a key part in VATNZ’s governance. They help ensure decisions are balanced and aligned with divisional policy, provide light-touch oversight across the Division, and support the stability and consistency of the organisation. This position suits someone who can offer clear judgement, fairness, and steady support during busy or complex periods.
