Solo Endorsements

Requirements

Controllers exercising the privileges of a solo endorsement may only do so under the following:

  • The endorsee may not exercise the privileges of a solo endorsement during the period encompassing one hour before to one hour after a major event without the express approval of the Training Director or Assistant. A normal VATNZ "Night Shift" is not considered a major event for this requirement.
  • The endorsee must ensure their endorsement is current before connecting to the network.
  • A controller with an ENR solo endorsement may not extend beyond their primary sector (no extended services or extending into an adjacent sector). Note that some sectors inherit extra sector(s) when not staffed. This is not considered to be providing extended services or extending into an adjacent sector.
Controllers must ensure that the following text is within their controller information when connecting to the network using a Solo Endorsement:
