Emirates have in the past flown 6 different routes between Dubai and New Zealand. Tonight is the night to fly a long haul with some ATC! Auckland will be fully staffed for the departures with Auckland Radio, then for people transiting via Sydney there will be ATC there as well.
So if AA - SY is too short get your Emirates aircraft out of the hanger and fly to Dubai.
