VATNZ's April edition of Non Normal Night Shift takes us between Wellington & Christchurch, with newly released NZWN Scenery.
Non-Normal Night Shift is our way of changing up your weekly Saturday event by visiting somewhere different.
It might be a simple change in route, or it might be something completely out of the ordinary.
With full ATC along the way, it's a great way to relax on your Saturday evening.
Starring the Capital City, April's Non-Normal Night Shift takes us between Wellington and Christchurch.
You can depart Wellington and make the half an hour trip to Christchurch operating a nice and short shuttle service if you wish. If you are feeling up to a challenge you can request an approach to the shorter Runways 11/29 in Christchurch and see how short you can stop. Or fly one of the complex curved RNAV RNP Approaches testing your accuracy.
One way not enough? Why not fly a shuttle route and turn around your aircraft in either Christchurch or Wellington to fly the return leg? With the route only taking 30 minutes each way you can many legs in short time.
