Manawatu has many cool spots to visit so VFR flying up and down the west coast is very popular, Ohakea Millitary Airport can accomodate a 757 so you can also operate IFR flights in and out of there aswell as Palmerston North.
Controlling Positions are also available, including Ohakea Approach, Control and Palmerston Tower.
