This event will see 26 aircraft operate from Christchurch (NZCH) to Auckland (NZAA) in a structured and closely coordinated IFR operation.
Aircraft will depart Christchurch at 4.5-minute intervals, operating northbound via:

The operation will be supported by full ATC staffing across the entire route, providing continuous air traffic services from departure through to arrival. Due to the event operating alongside the 24 Hours event, priority will be given to flights participating in that event.
Given the structured nature of the operation, adherence to allocated departure times, assigned procedures, and controller instructions will be essential to ensure the safe and efficient management of traffic.
All positions will be rostered as required, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive pre-event planning and proper coordination between controllers and participating sectors. This will ensure a consistent and professional operation throughout the event.
