New Divisional Policy Published

The VATNZ Board has approved the new Divisional Policy, which comes into effect from 3 September 2026. You can find the published policy here. 

The Divisional Policy is the core governance framework for the Division. It formalises how the Board operates, how decisions are made and recorded, how staff are appointed and removed, and how divisional policies are created, consulted on, and reviewed. Much of it reflects how VATNZ already operates; setting it down in policy makes that consistent, transparent, and durable. The intent is a Division that runs well without getting in the way of the people doing the work.
