Richard Bywater appointed as Operations Director

We're pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Bywater as VATNZ's new Operations Director.

Richard has been a long-serving member of the Operations Team, most recently holding theAirspace Manager portfolio. He has contributed significantly to the development and maintenance of the Division’s airspace design, controller tooling, and procedural documentation. His deep understanding of our operational environment and commitment to continuous improvement make him an excellent fit for the role.

The outgoing Operations Director, Mikey Robinson, will remain in a transitional role for the time being, working with Richard to ensure a smooth handover.
