Hello Everyone!
This week to distract us from our day-to-day lives we're flying into Whangarei! Gateway to not much but a very fun approach during the night and followed by a short runway, this event gives pilots the chance to demonstrate their short-field abilities.
Controllers: Whangarei is uncontrolled but traffic is likely to be operating out of Auckland which Auckland Control the station aircraft will be contacting for IFR clearance. The event is not rostered and is first come first serve in atc-requests .
Pilots: A reminder to fly suitable aircraft. It is against CoC to fly unsuitable aircraft into smaller aerodromes.
